IBCC attestation Pakistan History
The IBCC was created at the Federal Level in 1972. It was responsible for sharing information between the member Boards in all areas concerning Intermediate and Secondary Education to ensure fair uniformity in the evaluation of academics and curricular standards and to encourage extracurricular and curricular activities on an inter-board basis.
It is also responsible for serving as a place for discussion and consultation with the Chief Executives of the Boards in all matters related to the development and advancement of Intermediate and Secondary Education and to make appropriate suggestions to the Government.

Rules for IBCC Attestation Pakistan
- All the SSCs, HSSCs, Diplomas, Shahadat-ul-Saanviat-ul-Aama, Shahadat-ul-Saanviat-ul-Khasa, Marks Sheets, School Leaving Certificates etc. must be verified by the issuing authority/Board for Intermediate and Secondary Education/Board Technical Education before making it available to IBCC to be attested.
- IBCC will attest only to those certificates verified by the respective issuing authority. Verification should be submitted in a sealed envelope to the concerned Board along with the application for attestation of Certificates. Assurance forwarded by every Board shall be valid for six months from the issue date.
- Only the certificates of those Private Schools/Colleges/institutions will be attested, which are either affiliated with a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Board of Technical Education or registered with the Directorate of Education. The applicant will have confirmation of the document from the appropriate BISE, BTE and Directorate of Education and Directorate of Education before submitting the manuscript to IBCC. He must show proof of the Affiliation or Registration, e.g., a copy of the Affiliation/Registration Certificate/letter etc.
- If the certificate is deemed authentic, it is valid in all respects and complies with the specifications of the rules for IBCC, BISE, BTE government, institution(s) and so on. It will be formally attested and handed over on the same working day on the deposit date.
- In case of need, clarification, doubt, or any fact/particular/thing about the certificate is not clear, it will be attested after verification and meeting the necessary requirements.
- Suppose any document submitted to the IBCC is found to be fraudulent or fake after confirmation by the IBCC. In that case, the certificate is forfeited and not returned to the person who submitted it. The necessary action following the rules of IBCC will be taken against the person who submitted the application or the certificate holder.
- Attestation of the Original Certificate(s) is required.
- The photocopy of the certificate will be certified after attestation of original.
